First thing I like in your work is that the illustration is very clear and understandable. I think in itself make it a success : it's an elf cuddling a white bear and it's totally cute x3 The winter/christmas theme is obvious, the posture and acting of characters clear... (I only have a doubt about the point of the tree, is the bear chewing it?)

The colors are not too intense so they go well together, especially the green and the pink/purple tints of the face and the bear.
When working on colors I often try to choose a few colors and mix them together with less opacity to obtain an harmony between them. As an example you could put some blue in your green shadows to make it work better with the background. Greens are difficult to work with, and it's often good to mix them with blue or yellow...

I really like your dynamic strokes and the way you tint it the same color of the object. The face of the elf is really pretty and the way it's colored and shaded really good! (sorry if I make some mistakes I'm not familiar with WoW)

For the sitting pose... It's pretty difficult o_o It's typically the kind of posing I don't know how to draw! So I'm not sure while looking at your drawing what exactly is the pose as the bear hide it ^^ is she sited cross-legged or on her knees? I guess it's on her knees. I tried to do this : img11.hostingpics.net/pics/264…
For my part I cannot draw sitting poses without photo references and I try to construct with simple volumes. Be aware of the parts in contact with the floor between which the weight is shared. I also think you drew the arms a bit too long, the elbows are almost on the same height as the bottom of the rib cage.
The bear head is very well done, the body lacks a bit of construction. I tried this :

Of course it's not very reliable, just to show you the way I would approach those poses that are not easy at all! ^^

The same way I tried to show what I meant with mixing the colors together :
img11.hostingpics.net/pics/584…
as the blue is the background I decided it was the main color so the green and the orange look a bit too intense (I could also had apply some green on the blue of the background, the idea is that there is one or two bright color, not more). So on the right are your color shades, and I obtained the ones on the left by mixing blue/green and orange/blue. I also applied the pink of the face on the rest of the girl's skin.

I hope this will help you, it's only my way of working and point of view, there is no "good way" of doing things <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> I hope you will not be upset I painted over your work, it's only to show you what I meant... I can't wait to see your next drawings!
